Renault Megane RS Trophy

Let's get this out of the way, Hot Hatches are the go to daily drivers. There are way too many choices on the market right now, with the VW GTI, the Mercedes Benz A-Class, the Hyundai i30, but in my humble opinion the one that caught my eye was the Renault Megan RS.

Are there more powerful hot hatches? Obviously there are, are there ones that are more equipped? For sure, I mean look at the Mercedes, you've got screens everywhere, which can be a bit distracting.

Track days internationally are filled with BMWs, Porsches and Renaults, so when I say this is a hot hatch, the Renault Megane RS Trophy is a smoking hot hatch, from grabbing your groceries all the way down the chicane at your local track.

Lets talk about figures, the Renault Megane RS is 280 horse power, while the RS Trophy is 300 BUFF French horse power. Both are an inline 1.8L turbocharged four banger. The Trophy comes with black suede Recaro seats, with a beautiful valved exhaust, 19 inch trim-tone wheels (silver, black, red), 4control steering meaning all four wheels turn making it easier to maneuver, and much much more.

I may be a bit biased because I've had my Renault Megane RS Trophy for almost a year now and I have loved every moment sitting behind the suede steering wheel banging through the gears with the steering mount shift paddles. In Kuwait it is a bit weird seeing it driving past you, because 90% of Renaults sold are commercially used vehicles, but when you hear that center mounted exhaust blasting past you it'll make you take a second look.

Do I hate the car? Not a single bit, do I want you to check it out, maybe I do but that's all down to your needs in a car. But I don't regret purchasing it at all and I can not wait until my Maxton parts come in to make it even more unique.
